My name is John Wybar and I am a Business Administration graduate. In my third year I was given an excellent opportunity to take a year in industry with Lloyds TSB. I have developed immeasurably in almost every area. My ability to read financial information had improved, as well as my confidence when meeting professionals.

My ability to read financial information had improved, as well as my confidence when meeting professionals. I strongly believe that the placement year put me in good stead for not only my final year of university, but also my future career. I was able to contribute far more in lectures and seminars as I had more experiences to bring to the fore. My enhanced communication skills also helped me to put points across more effectively. Due to the fact that I had taken up role as project manager through my placement I felt more confident in guiding others during group tasks.

The skills that I have developed will stay with me forever and I will take these into any career that I pursue in the future. I am now in employment with Lloyds TSB.
